S4S Nicam Demo

Rather than read a raft of S4S specifications, why not see how it actually works at our Nicam demo site. Nicam demo sites simulate an on-line photography store and are used by Sitecore to showcase the CMS's extensive range of features.

  • Navigate to the Company tab - Salesforce Documents
  • Note that you do not need to be logged in to view documents (or any other data) from Salesforce
  • Click on the Download link to view a particular document
  • Navigate to the Home tab and log in using the credentials - Username "bb" and Password "b"
  • Note the additional tabs that Sitecore displays
  • Navigate to the My Nicam tab - Edit Profile
  • Any changes you make here are saved against the Salesforce Contact. Also, any changes made in Salesforce are reflected back to this page in Sitecore. If you want to verify this please contact us and we can show you in Salesforce
  • In the Skill Level section, note the level set. This determines the content that is rendered in Sitecore which can also be set from Salesforce. This, for example, allows different website content to be rendered to different Salesforce Contacts or Leads
  • Navigate to the Company tab - Salesforce Reports
  • Note that Salesforce Reports can easily be displayed in any format
  • Navigate to the Company tab - Salesforce User List
  • This is a list of all the Salesforce Contacts that belong to the same Account as the logged in user
  • Note that edits and additions will appear in Salesforce (and vice versa)
  • Navigate to the Company tab - Registration menu - Update Contact
  • This is an example of editing and submitting to Salesforce from a form created using Sitecore's Web Form for Marketers functionality. When creating the WFFM form, simply name the fields the same as those in Salesforce to which they map

This demonstrates only a small part of the bi-directional connectivity that S4S offers. Please contact us to find out how S4S can help you integrate Salesforce with your website.
