FuseIT now has two staff based in Melbourne, Australia, working closely with DIIRD, to implement a new IT system based on Salesforce.com. DIIRD is the trade and enterprise arm of the Victorian government and responsible for economic development in the State. DIIRD has offices in the city, regional centers and in key international cities and has a large number of business units including Tourism Victoria, which has many programs to foster tourism.

The new Salesforce implementation is revolutionizing how DIIRD interacts with their clients, and will manage at a high level most of the departments customer engagements . The selection of Salesforce.com represents forward thinking on behalf of DIIRD. This product is a “cloud” solution, running over the Internet from data centers in the USA and Singapore. The implementation FuseIT is managing is the largest within Australasia government. For the first time DIIRD will have a whole-of-department view of their activities and client engagement, and can access their data quickly from anywhere in the world.
