Richard Clarke

Based in Melbourne, Australia, Richard has over 25 years experience in the IT industry spanning New Zealand, Australia, the United Kingdom and the USA. After graduating from Canterbury University with a degree in Computer Science and Operations Research Richard worked internationally for several years. In the early 1990s Richard relocated to Nelson from London, and in partnership with Deleece Plumpton, established the company that is now FuseIT. Richard spent five years working for Touché Ross in London as the technical lead of their audit technology department. After the merger with Deloitte Richard was involved in an international project to merge products and software development approach, and spent significant time working in Amsterdam and Princeton, New Jersey (USA). Richard has been involved as a founder and at CTO level for several US based corporations delivering fast scalable web applications. He has extensive international experience at senior levels, including taking TransactIQ.com from start-up to a successful platform for Fortune 700 company, Stewart Title. His expertise also spans enterprise level infrastructure, compliance, security and stability. He maintains strong skills in technology strategy, architecture and development. Richard has relocated permanently to Melbourne, Australia and has is the Chief Executive Officer of Fuse Information Technologies Australia Pty Ltd, a company focused primarily on CRM project management and consultancy services.
